These are the new Statutory Payment rates for Tax Year 2022/2023. The new SSP rate applies from Wednesday 6th April 2022; all other rates apply from Sunday 3rd April 2022.
Effective from the 2022/2023 tax year, there is a new Council Tax Attachment of Earnings Order (AEO) for Wales. The thresholds are higher than the existing Council Tax Attachment of Earnings Orders and apply to Wales only. The Welsh Government introduced this to maintain fairness in the system and reflect changes to the cost of living.
On the Employee > Attachment Orders > + Add AEO > Type dropdown, we have added Council Tax AEO Wales Payment of unpaid council tax in Wales.
